性状：白色粉末或块状，表观比重0.3以上，熔点1100℃，溶于水，不溶于醇，水溶液呈碱性。在水中溶解度大，（25℃时溶解187克/100克水），稍有潮解性。

Property：white powder or mass, specific gravity: 2.534, M.P.: 1109 ; Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol and its aqueous solution is alkali. Solubility(25 ): 187g/100g water; PH (1% aqueous solution): 10.2; It has the same properties as other condensed phosphate.

用途：主要用于无氰电镀、衣料用洗涤剂组分、金属和瓶子洗涤剂组分，各种清洁剂、添加剂和陶瓷工业的粘土分散剂，也可用作电镀的前处理剂和焦磷酸电镀液。

 Application:mainly used as complexing agent in cyanogen-free electroplating, substituting for sodium cyanide. It also can be used as pretreating agent in electroplating and pyrophosphoric acid electroplating solution, as ingredient and additive in all kinds of detergents and metal surface treating agent, as clay dispersant in ceramic industry, as dispersant and buffering agent in pigment and dyes, to remove a small amount of ferric ion from water in blanching and dyeing industry to improve quality.
